TomTom has confirmed that they will release a new navigation gadget called GO 530. It comes equipped with 4.3inch widescreen 16:9 format LCD (WQVGA: 480×272 pixels), 400 MHz Processor, 1GB of internal memory, SD card socket, and Bluetooth connectivity. Measuring 118mm x 83mm x 24mm and weighing 220grams, the GO 530 is using a Lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 5 hours of battery life. The device also sports IQ Routes, the Advanced Lane Guidance and compatible with TomTom HD Traffic. TomTom GO 530 will be available only in Europe at the end of April for around $538. [Navigadget]

TomTom and Vodafone have collaborated to offer a new traffic service called TomTom High Definition Traffic, which is only available in the Netherlands so far. They also offered TomTom ONE XL HD that will be available in the Netherlands later this month with 12 months of High Definition Traffic subscription for $585. TomTom ONE XL HD navigation system features 4.3 inch full TFT colour LCD touch screen (480 x 272 pixels, 64.000 colours), 1GB of internal memory, GPRS Modem with built-in SIM card for live data connection, SD slot (only for additional maps), and buit-in Lithium-Ion battery that offers 2 hours of battery life.

The TomTom ONE XL-S is a variant of the recently released TomTom ONE XL. The gadget is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. It is the high end of TomTom’s ONE line of basic portable GPS navigators. The XL-S offers text-to-speech functionality and map share technology allowing users to make changes to the map and share these corrections with other TomTom users. Priced at $400, this new navigation gadget also provides maps of U.S. and Canada.
