
Here is the latest business notebook from Toshiba that comes in the form of the Tecra R10. Measuring at only 1.13 inch thin, the desktop replacement is portable and lightweight. This Energy Star 4.0 compliant laptop features an Intel Centrino 2 processor, NVIDIA Quadro NVS 128MB video card, 7200 rpm hard drive, and ExpressCard slot. Other kewl specs include Fingerprint reader, Spill-resistant keyboard, EasyGuard Technology with PC Health Monitor and an integrated optical drive. The 15.4-inch Satellite Pro S300 and the 14-inch Satellite Pro S300M are the latest addition to the Toshiba Satellite laptop series. These desktop replacements offer some kewl features including a USB Sleep-and-Charge / eSATA combo port, face recognition software and a business card reader. The Satellite S300 is powered by a Core 2 Duo CPU with up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM support, a 160GB 5,400 RPM hard drive, dual-layer DVD burner, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Intel’s GMA4500MHD graphics, and a 9-cell battery pack that offers you a longer battery life. The S300M also offers the same specifications but with a smaller LCD screen. The Toshiba Satellite Pro S300M starts at $899, but the Satellite Pro S300 retails for an affordable price tag of $829. Here is a projector that is able to work without PC or laptop. Toshiba’s new TLP-X150U mobile projector allows you to give a presentation without the need for a laptop. All you have to do is plug in your PowerPoint presentation, which is stored on a USB flash drive into the USB 2.0 port and you’re good to go. The Toshiba TLP-X150U also features 2,600 ANSI lumens, 3LCD technology, 600:1 contrast ratio, Native XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, Toshiba Natural Color Enhancer, two RGB inputs, one S-Video input, one composite input, one stereo mini-jack audio input, stereo mini audio output and RS-232 port. After releasing the NB100 netbook, Toshiba will also launched the new Dynabook NX Series notebook. The laptop comes equipped with a 12.1 inch LED backlighted LCD screen with WXGA resolution (1280×800), a 1.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 CPU, supports up to 3GB2GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD or 160GB of SATA HDD, and DVD Super Multi Drive, Wi-Fi b/g/n, three USB ports, e-Sata port, and SD card slot. Toshiba’s MKxx29GSG is a 1.8 inch hard drive that offers 250GB of storage capacity and spins at 5,400rpm. Measuring at only 8mm thin, this 3Gbps SATA hard drive targets netbooks or laptops. I am sure we will see the thinner netbooks or laptops in the near future, because this super thin hard drive will be mass produced from November 2008 onwards. [Impress]

Check out Toshiba’s latest approach in making portable multi-media devices, this time with its new JournE M400. This new device comes with a music player, video platform, photo viewer and built-in a DVB-T Tuner for easy access to TV programs without having to sit in front of a television set. The 4.3 inch, anti-glare TFT-LCD screen is designed to handle outdoor viewing , making it easier to watch content outdoors. The JournE M400 has a micro SD card slot and Toshiba will bundle a 1GB micro SD card with a SD card-adaptor for customer to add extra memory. Toshiba will release not one but five full HD LCD TVs to the market known as the Regza ZH7000, Z7000, FH7000, H7000 and C7000. The Toshiba Regza ZH7000 Series wil be available in November 2008 and will come in 42inch, 46inch and 52inch sizes. The LCD screen sports Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080), 300GB hard drive, Digital TV tuner, four HDMI inputs and built-in 2 x 10w speakers. Toshiba is offering SD Multi Tool and the SD Photo Editor hand-helds with touchable LCD. The SD Multi Tool features dual 3.5-inch touchable (finger or stylus) LCDs, rated at 960 x 480, wireless connectivity, web-browsing capable, and HDMI out. It is excellent for videos or photo editing. The SD Photo Editor features 5-inch WVGA screen with 16 million colors, and is equipped with dual SD card slots, while the Multi Tool just has one microSD slot.
