Toshiba T01A Smartphone Now Available In Japan

Remember the Toshiba TG01 smartphone that we mentioned back in February? Now it’s finally available in Japan in the form of the T-01A (a rebranded version). In case you’ve forgotten, this 9.9mm thick handset is equipped with a 4.1-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Toshiba Qosmio G50W/95JW Notebook

Toshiba has plan to release its new Qosmio notebook in Japan next month. Known as the Qosmio G50W/95JW, the 18.4-inch notebook comes jam packed with a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 processor, a 4GB of RAM, an Intel PM45 Express Chipset, a 500GB of HDD, Full HD resolution display, and an nVidia GeForce 9600M GT with 512MB of VRAM. Toshiba Introduces Satellite L500 and L550 Laptops

Toshiba has introduced two new widescreen laptops in the form of the Satellite L500 and L550. The L500 offers a 15.6-inch HD TruBrite display with 1366 x 768 resolution, meanwhile, the L550 sports a bigger 17.3-inch HD TruBrite display with power saving LED backlight technology, and a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. As for the rest of the specs remain the same for both machines, you’ll find a choice of either an Intel Celeron / Pentium / Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon / Turion processor, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a VGA web camera supporting Toshiba’s Face Recognition software, an HDMI port, a 4-in-1 Bridge Media slot, two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet and an additional eSATA/USB combo port. The highly anticipated Toshiba Mini NB205 netbook has finally reached US and will be available starting late June for $349. Toshiba NB205 Coming To America

The Toshiba NB205 is the company’s latest netbook that will be available in the US very soon. This 10.1-inch netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Windows XP OS, a 2-in-1 memory card slot, an RGB port, WiFi and a six-cell battery. The NB205 is available in two different versions: the NB205-210 ($350) that only comes in black and has a full flat keyboard or the NB205-310 ($400) that comes in metallic finish with four different colors (brown, white, pink and blue), and has a raised “chiclet” keyboard as well as Bluetooth capabilities. Telefónica And NTT DoCoMo Announce The Toshiba TG01, Service & Software Collaborations

Remember the Toshiba TG01 smartphone that we mentioned back in February? This smartphone will soon make its way to Spain and Japan via Telefónica (Spain) and NTT DoCoMo (Japan) starting June or July. NTT will sell the handset in Japan as the docomo PRO series T-01A. In case you’ve forgotten, this high-end smartphone features a huge 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS (upgradeable to 6.5), a 3D User interface, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microSD card slot. Pricing info is still unknown at the moment. Toshiba has exclusively launched the Dynabook Satellite TXW/67JW on its e-Store. The notebook is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz CPU with an Intel GM45 Express chipset, a 4GB RAM, a 16-inch 1,366 x 768 resolution LCD display, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi drive, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Toshiba Dynabook SS RX2 with World's First 512GB SSD

Toshiba’s 12.1-inch Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ is the first laptop in the world that features a 512GB SSD. Measuring only 19.5 – 25.5mm thick and weighing at 1.1-kg(less than 2.5-pounds), the laptop comes equipped with a Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU, and a battery that lasts up to 12-hours of operating time. Toshiba's Latest Portable DVD Player

Toshiba releases the SD-P93DTW, which is the company’s latest portable DVD player that features a digital and analog 1Seg TV tuner, a 9 inch (800 x 480) display screen, and an SD memory slot. The player also supports DTS/DOBLY DVDs as well as DviX videos. Measuring 260mm x 34mm x 191mm and weights at only 1.2kg, the Toshiba SD-P93DTW will be available in Japan around April for 50,000 Yen or approx. €390. [Akihabara]

Toshiba REGZA C8000 Series HDTV

Toshiba of Japan has recently introduced the Regza C8000-series LCD HDTV, that will be available in 37-inch (37C8000) and 42-inch (42C8000) models. These HDTVs feature 120Hz technology, 30000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and eco-friendly features for up to 51 percent power savings compared with its predecessor, the CV500s-series.
