
Toshiba today released its first 16 inch display notebooks in the form of the Satellite A350, A355, and A355D. These laptops support a maximum of 4GB RAM, up to 400GB hard drive and a built-in DVD burner. Its display offers 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution with aspect ratio of 16:9. All models will boast harman/kardon stereo speakers, an integrated webcam and microphone, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 media card reader and Firewire port. Here is the latest portable TV from Toshiba. Known as the SD-P73DTW, this portable gadget boasts a 8.9 inch display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, digital TV tuner, 1Seg tuner, Blu-ray player and HDMI output. Sadly, it is priced at a whooping 850 Yen in Japan. [Akihabara] More

Toshiba will release its high-end notebook PC for the Japanese market. The Toshiba QWXW comes with a powerful nVidia GeForce 9800M GTS with 1GB of VRAM, a 128GB SSD and 160GB of HDD, a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo T9550 and a DVD Super multi drive. Toshiba has recently released two HD camcorders, the P30 and H20. These affordable HD video cameras come with YouTube uploading and ArcSoft editing tools. Other features include HDMI connectivity, Night Mode for low light shooting, an SD memory card slot, 5x optical and 4x digital zoom, a 3 inch TFT display or a 2.5 inch for the P30, video stabilization, special effect options, a remote control. You can now purchase the new Satellite Pro S300-EZ1511 business notebook model for $529 at Toshiba Direct. The 15.4-inch (1280×800) laptop features the Intel Pentium T3400 processor running at 2.1GHz, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 120GB hard drive, and a DVD burner. Other features include 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, a 56k modem, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, PC Card slot, DVI-D video output, Firewire, 6-in-1 media card reader, and Serial port. Toshiba comes back with two new Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) for the Japanese market. The Toshiba Vardia RD-G503 has a huge 500GB of hard drive, while the RD-E303 has a 300GB hard drive. Both DVRs supports DVD burner, MPEG-2 TS and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC recording, Digital / Analog tuner, DVD upscaling and two remote controls (one for a fully functional and one with the basic controls). Toshiba today announced their latest 2.5 inch 512MB SSD drive (THNS512GG8B). Sadly, there is no further info about the price tag. But, I am sure Toshiba will show off this SSD in January next year at the CES 2009. We’ll keep you posted. [Akihabara]

Toshiba has recently released the spanking new 16GB microSDHC memory card that will come in two SD speed classes – Class 2 and Class 6. These memory cards will be available in January and April next year, respectively. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this time. [Press Release]

Toshiba will release the new portable DVD player for those who are always on the go. Measuring 8mm thin, the SD-P73SW feature a 7 inch LCD (480×234), with support of MP3, WMA, JPEG, DivX file formats. The Toshiba SD-P73SW is priced at around €200 in Japan. [Akihabara]

Toshiba today launched three new data video projectors with HDMI support that can be used directly via WiFi, or from a Microsoft Windows 6.0 PDA and Smartphone. The Toshiba TLP-X200 is a high-end model that features a resolution of 1024×768, a brightness of 3000 lumens, and audio guidance. Meanwhile, the Toshiba TLP-WX200 provides a resolution of 1280×800, a brightness of 2200 lumens, and audio guidance. The Toshiba TLP-WX100 doesn’t have audio guidance features.
