You can now pre-order the latest touchscreen MP3 player from Creative which is known as the ZEN X-Fi2. The player boasts a 3-inch touchscreen display and supports most of famous audio and video formats including AAC, Audible books, FLAC, MP3, WMA, DivX 4/5, MPEG-4, WMV and XviD. At first glance, the Camden digital watch by Storm London looks like an ordinary timepiece. But, the watch comes with a touch screen display that can automatically shut off in order to conserve battery power. If you want to see the current time, all you have to do is tap it to get its display turned back on. It is also able to display a text message up to 10 characters. Pittsburgh-based company DynaVox Mayer-Johnson has rolled out the DynaVox Xpress. Weighing at 1.5-pounds, the gadget has a 5-inch touchscreen display with a menu of icons with various phrases and vocabulary, and speakers to vocalize the communications. The Xpress also supports an MP3 player, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated calendar, and the ability to download new vocabulary to the device. No info on pricing or availability so far. Snom today introduced a new VoIP desk phone that is primarily aimed for businesses. Dubbed as the Snom 870, the phone has a 4-inch x 3-inch touchscreen display that will make it easy to setup a conference call for up to five participants via its drag and drop menu system. SK Telecom has plan to launch the Samsung SCH-M830 in the South Korean market. This WiBro phone supports both WCDMA voice call and WiBro data service. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 OS with a 3.3-inch WVGA (480x800pixels) full touchscreen display, a built-in 2GB storage space, and a 3MP shooter. [AVING]

Here is another cool device CuPC-P80, a developmental UMPC that only needs 12 Volts DC power, which means it can easily be hooked up to your car. You only need to connect it to some USB GPS and broadband modem and you got a mobile station right there on your car. This CuPC-P80 runs AMD Geode LX800 500Mhz processor, 512MB of DDR, and 4GB of Flash harddrive. The gadget also comes with bunch of serial ports and RS485 for industrial automation. Asus has decided to launch its famous Asus Eee Top 1602 in Japan. The mini desktop boasts a touchscreen display and is powered by an Intel Atom N270 running at 1.60GHz, 1 GB of RAM, Intel 945GSE Express and 160GB of HDD. Its 15.6 inch touchscreen LCD provides a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. There is also a 1.3MP webcam and Wifi B/G/N. If you are living in Japan, you can buy the Eee 1602 for around €545. [Akihabara]

Samsung Telecommunications America and T-Mobile USA have released the Samsung Memoir. The handset will be available from February 25th onwards on an exclusive basis from T-Mobile USA. It is a touch-screen handset that comes jam packed with a 8MP camera with auto focus, 16x digital zoom, Xenon flash, adjustable brightness and flash, blink detection, face detection, anti-shake to reduce blur and geo-tagging. There are also five different shooting modes. Using the Memoir, you can record video for up to an hour depending on the type of resolution you use. Its TV-out allows you to share your favorite memories with family and friends. Other features include Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, widget support, 3G connectivity, a full virtual QWERTY keypad, haptic feedback and A-GPS. No word on pricing at this time. That’s right! Korean giant Samsung has released the first solar powered full-touch mobile phone in the world. Known as the Blue Earth, its solar panel is located on the back of the phone and generates enough power to make calls anytime, anywhere. There is also an ‘Eco-Mode’, for setting screen brightness and backlight duration, and a Bluetooth energy efficient mode. The “Eco-Walk” function offers a pedometer for calculating CO2 emissions reduced by walking as opposed to motor transport. The ‘Eco-Walk’ will also tell you how many trees you saved!
