Looks like Coby makes more than boomboxes. They seem to be catching up with the MP-835 touchscreen player. It has a 3-inch, 480 x 272 LCD, either a 2GB or 4GB storage capacities, and microSD. MP3, WMA, OGG, AVI and WMV support. No word on pricing yet, but considering it just got approved by the FCC it shouldn’t be too long until it’s launched in the states.
Check out this new LG KF700 phone, it features a full touchscreen multimedia handset, 240×480 pixel resolution with bright 16 million color display, full divx playback, tons of storage and other goodies. On display next week in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2008.
Pioneer just announced its new GPS unit with Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, and voice activation. It’s an all in one semi-portable unit that will do everything for you while driving except pleasure your nether regions. It features a 5.8 inch touchscreen and has voice controls so you can keep your hands on the wheel. Get out of my dreams, get into my car.

Digiframes seem to be improving more and more these days. With that said, Shogo is the first digiframe ever to feature both a touchscreen and wi-fi. Additional features include: 1GB of internal storage, a 800 x 600 resolution panel, a multicard reader and a built-in rechargeable battery, adding photos to online sites like Flickr, as well as connect to internet radio stations and browse through RSS feeds. No word on pricing or availability yet, but it is said to release soon.

iiyama has released three new LCD screens that come equipped with touchscreen panels. Priced at $678, the 15-inch T1530SR has 1024 x 768 resolution, 16ms response time, 500:1 contrast ratio, and 280 cd/m2 of brightness level. The 17-inch T1730SR and 19-inch T1930SR retail for $719 and $822, respectively. These LCD screens comes with 1280 x 1024 resolution, 800:1 contrast, 5ms response time, and 240cd/m2 brightness.
Here are some pictures of a new in-car DVD player with both touchscreen and bluetooth. It features a 4.3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display, bluetooth for cellphones, support for DVD, DVD-R, MP3, MP4, DIVIX, VCD, CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback. To prevent breaking glass, there is a detachable panel with carrying case. This DVD player is now available at Ipmart for $343.
AllAboutSymbian shows us a video demonstrating Nokia’s forthcoming touch interface for S60. The touch interface will support both finger and stylus input, supports for tactile feedback and is backwardly compatible with the existing S60 platform. Video after the jump.
