BMW Hydrogen 7 Super Eco-friendly

The BMW Hydrogen 7 is a new super eco-friendly car prototype that requires hydrogen as its primary fuel. The car is also able to use gasoline if the primary fuel is not available. It is claimed to be one of the lowest emitting combustion engine vehicles that have been manufactured. There is no word on when the Hydrogen 7 will be available to consumers. [DVICE]

Sony MEX-BT3600U in-Car CD Tuner

Sony will be launching a new in-car CD player called the MEX-BT3600U CD tuner. It features both USB and bluetooth interfaces, a quick-search interface so you can browse MP3 media and support for hands-free through the car stereo, support for bluetooth A2DP (advanced audio distribution profile) and AVRCP (audio/video remote control profile) allowing you to skip or pause tracks, a USB port, front-panel AUX input, 24-bit D/A conversion and 52Wx4 channels. No word on pricing just yet, but I’m guessing it wont be that much compared to an iPod. [Sony]

Here’s some pictures of the Saleen S5S Raptor, which is developed in partnership between Saleen and specialty builder ASC. Powered by a supercharged 5.0L engine and running off E85 ethanol, the car accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. Its machine produces 650 hp and 630 lb-ft. of torque.
