I-O Data will be launching another LCD PC with a digital TV tuner and an HDMI port. The LCD-DTV221 XBR comes with a WSXGA+ resolution (1680×1050), an integrated digital TV tuner, PIP, D5, DVI HDCP and HDMI port, 2.5Wx2 integrated speaker, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 300cd/m2. Toshiba has just released another Qosimo model known as the G40 97E. With standard features like: 17 inch widescreen (1920×1200), Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, 400 GB HDD, 2 TV tuners, and HD-DVD player and burner. It’s a great laptop that can do alot which is why the price would be well worth it! $3,544.20

Logitec LDT-1S30X4U TV Tuner

The Logitec LDT-1S30X4U looks like a wireless router but actually it is a USB TV tuner. The device has three antennas to allow recording of two different channels and viewing of a third channel at the same time. The unit also provides two USB ports and supports EPG, Mail recording (send an email and the tuner will record the program), data broadcasts, and subtitles. The TV tuner supports MPEG-4/H.264 and MPEG-2/AAC codecs. Measuring 12.8mm × 112.5mm × 36.2mm and weighing 300grams, the Logitec LDT-1S30X4U is currently available in Japan for $150.

Buffalo is releasing a new 1 seg USB TV Tuner with alot of new features such as recording video and transferring them to your pc. But the thing is you can only watch your recorded programs on a Japanese cellphone or your PSP/PS3. This tuner is going for about $110.

Nintendo Japan is releasing a new TV tuner for the DS November 8th. This tuner allows you to watch digital TV anywhere in Japan on the upper screen of the DS and the bottom half is a remote control. But don’t expect these to drop in the US anytime soon. $59.
