
Panasonic has expanded its Viera range by releasing the TH-L17C10 LCD TV. This new 17-inch LCD TV supports a native resolution of 1366 x 768 and features a digital TV tuner, a HDMI port and a microSD card slot for displaying your photo directly on your TV. The TH-L17C10 is now available in Japan for 65,000 Yen (about $686). [Akihabara]

ASUS has announced a new range of TV monitors in the form of the T1 series. Available in 21.5-inch, 23.6-inch and 27-inch versions, the T1s offer a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 20,000:1 contrast ratio and a built-in TV tuner (for both digital and analog signals). In addition, the T1 series also integrate 7W speakers and multiple connectors including two HDMI, two SCART, a D-Sub, Composite, Component, S-Video, an audio-in, a S/PDIF out, an audio out and an earphone out. Sharp has rolled out two new home theater racks namely the AN-AR410 and the AN-AR510 which support 37″ – 42″ and 42″ – 52″ LCD TV’s respectively. Both racks are equipped with a 3.1 channel surround sound, 3 x HDMI ports, 2 x Digital inputs and a digital amplifier which delivers an output of 485W. The AN-AR410 is priced at 90,000 Yen ($900), meanwhile the AN-AR510 sells for 100,000 Yen ($1000). Both units will be available in Japan starting June 10. [Impress via NewLaunches]

LG has rolled out a new range of digital TV monitors called the M7WD series. These TV monitors are aimed at people that want to do multiple things with one display, including television, PC usage, high-def content and radio. Available in 22-inch and 19-inch sizes, the M7WDs boast 1920 x 1080 resolution with 20,000:1 digital fine contrast ratio and 5ms response times. Other features include a 170 degree viewing angle, 3W built-in stereo speakers along with numerous connection ports including SCART, DVI and HDMI. Panasonic has launched two waterproof, portable VIERA LCD displays, the SV-ME750 and SV-ME700 models. Both of the two models mentioned above are 5-inch Panasonic 1Seg broadcasting portable TV with 480×272 resolution. Each device is equipped with the ability to play music files in MP3, WMA or WAV formats, or display pictures in slideshow. The only differences between the two of them is the fact that the more advanced model, the SV-ME750 is also capable of recording TV broadcasts on SD/SDHC cards and includes 2GB SD Card. The all new Viera will be available in black, pink and white and will hit Japanese stores later this month. The SV-ME750 will retail for 45,000 yen ($500) and 38,000 yen ($420) for the SV-ME700. Famous PMP maker Epoq will release the ATSC-compatible portable TVs or DTVs in the US market. DTV broadcasts will be 480 x 720 pixels and 1080i DTV. The gadget will be available in two variants. The 7 inch EPT-LC7AT is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a resolution of 480p and retails for $279. It can be used as the picture frame. Samsung Electronics and Giorgio Armani have collaborated to release the first 46- and 52-inch full HD TVs Armani/PAVV TV in the Korean market. The Armani/PAVV TV supports DNIePro(Digital Natural Image engine+) chipset, WiseLink, InfoLink and 120Hz Auto Motion Plus technologies. Sony has released a new series of BRAVIA TVs that reduce your power consumption to 89W. This JE1 Series uses fluorescent tubes that provide higher luminance efficiency at lower electric voltage with optical film that gives off a higher light transmission rate. The KDL-32JE1 features a 32-Inch LCD Panel in WXGA Resolution (1366×768 ), HDMI interface, Digital TV Tuner, and a contrast ratio of 2500:1 as well as a view angle of 178 degrees.
