
Japan-based UC Technology Corp. has developed the Tsubuyaku Sensor, which is designed for use in food warehouses, plants, or wine cellars. What makes the sensor special is that it can automatically post data such as temperature, humidity, illuminance, or radiation levels to Twitter. The Tsubuyaku Sensor is powered by a battery that offers up to a year of operation time. UC Technology will launch the sensor in Japan later this month for $560 for the base unit and $286 for each sensor. Watch the video after the jump. Read more
