
Shenzhen Guangxuntong Communication Technology has proudly introduced the EKing T9, which is claimed to be “the world’s thinnest touchscreen tablet.” The EKing T9 comes jam packed with a 9.7-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display, an Intel Z670 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, rear- and front-facing cameras, as well as a 2GB of RAM. This Xubuntu-based system runs on top of a 500MHz AMD Geode CPU, has 512MB of RAM, and 1GB of flash memory, basically for applications. The Linutop 2 uses only 8 watts of power and has four USB ports, an ethernet jack, audio outs, and comes with AbiWord, Open Office, and Firefox.
