TongFang has unveiled its new TongFang Imini S1 mini notebook. This portable gadget features 10.2 inch LCD display with Via 1.2GHz processor, VIA VX700 chipset, 512MB RAM and 80GB hard drive. Acer today released its mini notebook computer, which is designed to make online activities fast, simple and cool. Known as the Acer Aspire One, the laptop measures at only 9.8-inches x 6.7-inches x 1.14-inches and weighs at around two pounds. The Aspire One adopts 8.9-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels with integrated Acer CrystalEye webcam. Other features include an Intel Atom processor, Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP Home, a 512MB or 1GB of RAM, and a NAND flash module of 8GB or an 80GB internal HDD. Its card reader is able to read Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, and xD-Picture Card. The Asus Eee 1000 is now official at Computex, Taiwan. The company boasts that the Eee 1000 keyboard is 92% the size of an average laptop keyboard. Its battery life is up to 8 hours.
