The US700W UMPC comes jam packed with a 1.06GHz Intel Celeron M processor. The gadget also has 1GB of memory, 1024 x 600 LCD display, integrated 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WLAN support and a range of hard drive capacities from 20GB to 60GB. Digital Cube claims that their i-Station G43 is the smallest UMPC in the market today. It is running Windows XP on a AMD Geode LX800 processor with 256MB of RAM.
Priced at $700 including the XP license, the UMPC also sports 4.3 inch 800-pixel widescreen display, and comes with up to 60GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB port.

Samsung Q1P UMPC is the first UMPC from Samsung that comes equipped with Windows Vista certification. Priced at $1,299, the gadget is using an Intel Pentium processor running at 1GHz, a 60GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM. Additional features of the 1.7 pound UMPC include a 7 inch widescreen LCD touch display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Sadly, its battery provides only 2.5 hours of battery life.
It is simple for anyone on the go to stay connected, entertained and informed with the full power of a PC packed into a tiny 1.7-pound product. The Q1 models also offer wireless communication capabilities that include WiFi and Bluetooth for easy Internet access. All Q1 models also integrate the AVS Now feature, allowing users to enjoy a host of multimedia applications, including video, movies, music and still photos, without booting up Windows.
eHomeUpgrade via Laptops

Asus introduced two new gadgets at CeBIT 2007, including the Rugged Military NB tablet PC and the “Highly Integration UMPC”. The Rugged Military NB tablet PC features 13.3 inch display screen and holds the IP 54 standard for sand and water protection. The “Highly Integration UMPC” provides a 7 inch display, an integrated GPS system, an ExpressCard slot and runs on a VIA processor. Pricing details for both devices are still unknown. James Kendrick of jkOnTheRun provides a first look at the upcoming Vulcan FlipStart UMPC. The gadget boasts a 5.6 inch screen, LID display on the cover, a Pentium M 1.1 GHz processor, 500MB RAM, 30GB HDD, Windows XP SP2, integrated EV-DO, and a webcam.
The unit I am using has a Pentium M 1.1 GHz processor with 500 MB of RAM, A 30 GB hard drive, Windows XP SP2, integrated EV-DO, and a web cam. I used the web cam to make a video call to Marc Orchant and it worked pretty well so I can see the FlipStart as a great mobile communications device using VoIP. I recorded a 20 minute quick overview of the littlest laptop and have posted it here for your viewing pleasure.

Gigabyte will release the U60, its first UMPC next month at CeBit. The gadget will be featured a built-in QWERTY keyboard that slides out of the main body, a 6.5-inch (800×600) display screen, Wi-Fi b/g, 30GB hard drive, 2 USB ports and SD/MMC memory card reader. The U60 will be based on Via C7-M mobile processor. No info on pricing yet. Stay tuned for more updates!

OQO, the UMPC maker, is now offering the model 02 UMPC with an integrated EV-DO Wireless WAN capability compatible with the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service. This OQO Model 02 UMPC is claimed to be “the world’s smallest fully-functional PC”. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz VIA’s C7M ultra-low voltage processor, 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, and shock-mounted 60GB hard drive. It also has a backlit keyboard and TouchScrollers and supports dual external displays at up to 1920 x 1200 pixels through digital (HDMI/DVI) and analog (VGA) video interfaces. The OQO model 02 with the pre-installed Windows Vista has a starting price of $1499.
