Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station

Targus has rolled out the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station (ACP70US). The device adopts the USB 3.0 graphics technology by DisplayLink and provides two video ports, which are capable of powering two monitors with up to 2048 x 1152 resolution. The Targus ACP70US also features four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports, for connecting portable gadgets such as external hard disk drives, smartphones, digital cameras, etc. Additional features include a DVI-I to VGA adapter, a HDMI to DVI-D adapter, a 6.5A AC adapter and a 2ft USB 3.0 cable. Super Talent has released the Storage POD Mini portable solid state drive. Measuring 110mm x 68mm x 10mm, the storage device features an all-aluminum casing, which makes it more durable. The Storage POD Mini uses a SandForce SSD processor and supports the USB 3.0 interface, delivering a fast 260MB/s transfer rate. Toshiba will launch the TransMemory-EX USB 3.0 flash drive in the Japanese market. Available in 32GB and 64GB models, the storage device features 220MB/s read speed and 95MB/s write speed. Toshiba claims that the TransMemory-EX is able to copy a 25GB video file in less than 5 minutes. The company will launch the TransMemory-EX USB 3.0 flash drive in February 2012.
