Seagate Releases FreeAgent GoFlex

Seagate today rolled out the FreeAgent GoFlex, which is a new line of external hard drives that can connect to most interfaces including USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and eSATA. The Seagate GoFlex comes equipped with an interesting NTFS driver for Mac, which means that you can use a Windows-formatted (NTFS) drive on Mac, without re-formatting it. The 5400rpm FreeAgent GoFlex is available in 320GB ($99.99), 500GB ($139.99), 750GB ($179.99), and 1TB ($229). OCZ Enyo USB 3.0 SSD Drive

The OCZ Enyo is an external USB 3.0 SSD-based drive that should hit retail sometime in mid May 2010. Available in 64, 128 and 256GB of storage capacities, the device uses MLC NAND flash memory, 64MB of on board cache and USB 3.0 Micro B connector interface. The Enyo boasts a maximum transfer speed of up to 260MB/s for read and up to 200MB/s for write with sustained speeds of up to 150MB/s for 128GB and 256GB versions.
