Pioneer has entered the PC speaker market by releasing the 2.0-channel S-MM301 and the 2.1-channel S-MM751RU. Gem Hsin has recently announced a new LED desk lamp called TOPAZ in Taipei. Designed for desktop PC and laptop users, the lamp will work with any powered USB port on a computer to provide an external light source. The Gem Hsin TOPAZ consumes only 2 Watts per hour and provides up to 500 lux of illumination. The TOPAZ lamps can even function at three different brightness levels.
