Living in a compact apartment can make you really appreciative of a small device that actually performs exceptionally well. The new Dyson City Canister Vacuum is definitely a great example of a device that packs a whole lot more punch than you would expect it to for it’s size. The whole size of the device will end up being about the size of a piece of paper, length and width-wise. Of course the price tag is definitely not miniature as it will retail for about $380. Some people may have trouble choosing between a vacuum or a broom, so designer Wilson Song came up with this Vacroom concept design. It’s basically a broom with suction tentacles dubbing as a vacuum. What it can do that regular vacuums can’t is sweeping the floor. Ha!
It’s lightweight and compact and just like any broom, comes with a dust pan. The thick bristles are perfect for shuttling trash into the pan but what makes it a vacuum broom are the suction ducts inside each hollow bristle. It may not be a Dyson but sounds like a good basic solution for hard floors and area rugs.
