
Verizon has unveiled the 4G LTE-based Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. The LTE-based version has a similar specification with the Wi-Fi version, but users will be able to surf the internet on-the-go without needing to depend on a Wi-Fi hotspot. Verizon has rolled out the Novatel Wireless MiFi 4510L mobile hotspot that allows businesses and consumers to create a personal Wi-Fi cloud capable of sharing the high-speed Internet connectivity of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE and 3G Mobile Broadband with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices simultaneously. The 4510L has a WiFi b/g/n radio and an e-ink display, showing signal strength, battery level, roaming and number of connected devices. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 5-hour of active use. Verizon will launch the new Verizon 4G LTE Modem USB551L tomorrow. Created by Novatel, the USB551L modem is claimed to be the smallest LTE USB modem in the market so far. This wireless modem provides download speeds from 5 Mbps to 12 Mbps with upload speeds between 2 Mbps to 5 Mbps. It is compatible with the Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit, Vista 32/64-bit (SP2), Windows 7 32/64-bit, or Mac 10.4 or higher. Verizon will launch the USB551L for $99 with a $50 mail back rebate voucher. Verizon has started selling the Samsung SCH-LC11 4G LTE mobile hotspot. The device allows you to connect up to five WiFi devices to the LTE network at the same time. It is powered by an internal 1500mAh battery that provides up to 216-minute of operation time or up to 9-hour of standby time. The Samsung SCH-LC11 4G LTE mobile hotspot is priced at $269.99 without contract or $149.99 with a 2-year contract. Verizon has confirmed the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab on their network. The gadget will be released on November 11st, 2010. The Verizon’s version of Android tablet features a 7-inch display, the Google Android 2.2, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and Verizon’s 3G data network. The gadget is priced at $600 without a requirement for a data plan. If you do desire to not rely on Wi-Fi, you’ll be able to purchase a $20/month data plan on a month-to-month basis for 1GB of data. It looks like we are getting closer and closer to the release of the new modem from Verizon called the LTE. It will be Verizon’s attempt to burst into the 4G market and things are looking really promising. The largest US mobile carrier Verizon will release the BlackBerry Bold 9650 via online on June 3rd, 2010, which is tomorrow. The smartphone will be available via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores starting June 10th, 2010. A non-camera version will also be available on June 3th, 2010. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is Verizon’s first global smartphone to support GlobalAccess Connect, so it can be used for tethering in more than 200 countries worldwide. GlobalAccess Connect plans are available for $65 monthly access for 5GB allowance in the United States and Canada ($0.05/MB overage) and 100MB allowance in select countries ($5.12/MB overage). There is also a $155 monthly access option that offers 5 GB allowance in the United States and Canada and 200MB allowance in select countries, with the same overage rates as the $65 monthly option.

Motorola today unveiled the latest Bluetooth headset with MotoSpeak. Known as the H17txt, the headset interacts with the MotoSpeak application that can be downloaded from application stores such as the Android Market. Using this application, you will be able to hear your text messages read out to you through the H17txt headset. What’s more, the device can also announce who is texting you via sender ID and can automatically respond with a customizable text message that lets your friend know that you’re driving.
