
The Vertu Constellation F Ayxta is actually the company’s first clamshell phone. Priced at between €4,900 ($7,198) and €6,500 ($9,548), this luxurious phone is made from expensive materials including stainless steel, ceramic, leather, sapphire crystal (for the display) and aerospace grade aluminum parts. The handset also supports GPS, 3G HSDPA, a MicroSD card support, a 3MP camera with dual LED flash, and City Brief that provides “restaurant recommendations, the latest exhibitions, shopping guides and important cultural etiquette tips.” [Vertu via Upcoming Cell Phones]

Vertu and Ferrari have collaborated to offer their latest Ascent Ti luxury mobile phone collection. The new Vertu Ascent Ti mobile phone series consists of one limited edition phone, the Nero, and two special edition phones, the Rosso and Giallo. What makes the Nero cool is that the handset is constructed from titanium with crystal sapphire pillows and has the scratch-proof PVD to make it more durable. Meanwhile, the Rosso and Giallo feature the PVD-coated keyboards and battery covers, as well as ceramic pillows. In case you didn’t know, the Vertu Ascent Ti supports Quad-band GSM/EDGE with WCDMA 2100, 5 hours talk time and 300 hours standby time, Stainless steel keys and sapphire crystal screen, Bluetooth connectivity, a 3MP camera with autofocus and flash, and 4GB internal memory. Vertu is famous for their luxurious and expensive mobile phones. Here is the latest addition to their mobile phone series. Known as the Vertu Signature S Design, the handset boasts Quad-band EDGE/HSDPA 850/2100MHz bands, Wi-Fi connectivity and V-shaped keypad design. There is no word on pricing so far. The brand new Vertu Signature mobile phone will be released very soon. The luxurious handset supports 3G and WiFi connectivity and features a bright QVGA OLED with 320 x 240 pixels that supports 16 million colors, Bluetooth, VoIP, WCDMA dual-band 2100/850 MHz and GSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequencies. Vertu today released the new Vertu Constellation Rococo Edition to celebrate its 10th anniversary. For your info, the Rococo collection was inspired by the eighteenth century French art, fashion and interior design movement. The collection features intricate flower patterns embroidered into the leather on the back of the phone which brings to life the hallmark Vertu ‘V’. In order to commemorate Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary, Vertu is launching Vertu Ascent Ferrari 1947 Limited Edition, which is inspired by the dynamic and stylish Ferrari cars. The phone is “encased in symbolic red and black Ferrari leather with black lacquer stripes running at the sides.” The handset also features the famed Ferrari Prancing Horse at the bezel nose on the front of the phone, while on the rear back plate there is a scaled down iconic Ferrari brake pedal, crafted from high-graded aluminum.
