
Vivitek has started shipping the Vivitek Qumi HD, which is known as the world’s first pocket-sized LED HD 3D-ready pico projector. The projector features a 300 Lumens of brightness, a 2500:1 of contrast ratio, a mini-HDMI and a universal 24-pin connector for VGA or component connections. Vivitek today announced the availability of the extreme short-throw digital projector, which is ideal for small environments with big picture needs. The Vivitek D795WT is a native WXGA digital projector that can create a 95-inch image (diagonal) from about 1.3-feet away. This 3D-ready projector boasts 3000 Lumens of brightness, a 2500:1 contrast ratio and up 6,000 hours of standard lamp-life. Vivitek has introduced a new Full HD LED Projector to its range by announcing the H9080FD. Targeted towards home theater enthusiasts and professional installers, this projector provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 800 ANSI lumens brightness, 100,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 20,000 hours of lamp life. Here’s the latest addition to Vivitek’s DLP projector series, the H5080. This new home theater projector provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1200 lumens brightness, 25,000:1 contrast ratio, interchangeable lens options and up to 3000 hours of lamp life. It also adopts the Pixelworks’ DNX Motion Engine for creating smoother pictures by eliminating blur in fast-moving scenes. Vivitek today introduced a new member from its projector series. Dubbed as the H1080FD, this projector features a native 1080p (1920×1080) resolution, a 1,800 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 5,000:1. Other connectivity options include two HDMI ports, Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video, RS-232c and a 12v Trigger. Each lamp has a life of 3,000 hours with a noise level of 29dB. It incorporates a DLP® chipset from Texas Instruments to ensure the digital images don’t fade or degrade over time.
