
You are lucky if you are living in Germany, because Vodafone will release two new Android tablets in that country. Dubbed as the Smart Tab 7 and Smart Tab 10, these gadgets provide a fast 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with the Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, up to 32GB of storage space, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. As its name suggests, the Smart Tab 7 has a 7-inch display, while the Smart Tab 10 offers a 10-inch display. Vodafone will launch the Smart Tab 7 and 10 tablets in November 2011. Vodafone Germany has begun selling the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v Android tablet on their network. The device is currently being offered for 659.90 Euro (about $945). Vodafone Spain is ready to release the Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet for just 199 Euros ($278) on an 18-month contract. The Vodafone Spain version of Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch Super LCD display (1024×600), a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, the Android 2.2 OS, a voice calling functionality, a 3MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 and a Swype text input. Vodafone today announced that the iPhone will be available on its network in the UK from January 14, 2010. Vodafone UK pricing for the iPhone is similar with Orange and O2 who already sell the iPhone in the UK. The cheapest contract available is £30($47) a month (on a 24 month contract). The iPhone 3G 8GB, iPhone 3GS 16GB and iPhone 3GS 32GB are priced at £59($94), £149($238) and £239($382), respectively. The £30 per month tariff provides 300 minutes, unlimited text messages, unlimited WiFi. Customers will also be able to use up to 1GB data on one of the UK’s largest Wi-Fi networks, BT Openzone, providing high-speed internet access at premium locations across the UK. The Samsung H1 is now available for pre-order via Vodafone network. The phone is actually Vodafone’s first mobile phone that uses Vodafone 360 Platform. The Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 will be shipped to customers on October the 30th, 2009. The handset is available for free with a 24-month contract, which costs £30 per month. For your info, the Samsung H1 comes equipped with a 3.5-inch OLED display, a 5-megapixel shooter, a built-in GPS, WiFi, HSDPA/3G connectivity and a 16GB of storage space. Vodafone has recently launched its latest mobile broadband for several major cities in the U.K including London, Birmingham and Liverpool. Customers can enjoy download speeds varying from 1Mbps to 4Mbps with a practical maximum speed of 10.8Mbps. Cingular will be launching the much anticipated Palm Treo 750 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 8-11. No price for the Palm Treo 750 is set yet for the U.S. It’s already available overseas through Vodafone.
