SAFA has rolled out their latest high-performance voice recorder for the Korean market. Dubbed as the U500, the device features a 3-line LCD display, a 2GB or 4GB of storage capacity, noise canceling technology, Super HQ recording mode, an MP3 player and comes with a built-in amplifier speaker system that provides up to 500 mW of output power. Olympus will release their latest voice recorder in Japan later this month. Known as the V-82 Voice-Treck, this affordable voice recorder provides an 8GB of internal flash memory, which is enough to store up to 13-hour worth of PCM (16bit/44.1kHz) WAV files. Olympus is gearing up to launch its latest voice recorder for the Japanese market, the PJ-10. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, this portable device is equipped with a 2GB of storage, an FM radio and provides up to 135 hours of voice recording in mono at 32kbps (WMA format). In addition, it also comes with an antenna docking station for enhancing the radio sensitivity. Measuring only 103.8mm x 55.5mm x 19.1mm and weighing just 95 grams, the PJ-10 will go on sale in Japan starting in January for around 20,000 Yen (about $223). Read more

Sony Launches New 3-In-1 Digital Voice Recorders

The ICD-UX200 (2GB) and ICD-UX300 (4GB) are the latest 3-In-1 digital voice recorders from Sony for the European market. Unlike most digital voice recorders, these recorders also function as an MP3 player and as a USB flash drive for storing your data. Apart from that, they also feature a 5-line LCD display, a built-in speaker, a sliding USB connector and a rechargeable battery that provides up to 14.5 hours in record or up to 53.5 hours of playback.
