
Wacom today released four new products from its Bamboo series in the form of the Bamboo, Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen and Bamboo Touch. These Tablets adopt a new Multi-Touch technology that provides you with a natural way to work by allowing you to use simple finger taps and hand gestures to navigate, scroll through documents, zoom in and out of photos, and more. This technology senses input from more than one finger at a time, making it possible for you to use intuitive multi-finger motions to perform common commands.
The Wacom Bamboo provides pen and multi-touch input in a single device and is ideal for consumers in the home office or workplace. It can be used to customize emails, letters, spreadsheets, presentations and documents with signatures, notes, doodles and scribbles. The Wacom Bamboo is priced at £74.99($120).
The Bamboo Fun also combines pen and multi-touch input. Available in two sizes – small and medium, the gadget is a versatile device ideal for consumers who are keen to develop their creative skills. Wacom will rolled out their Nextbeat NXT-1000 professional DJ equipment on September 18th, 2009 in Japan and on September 25th, 2009 in Europe. For your info, the Nextbeat is a professional live performance with innovative features including touch-sensitive controls that can be operated intuitively with your DJ equipment. Wacom has officially launched their new Intuos4 graphics tablet range on the company’s European website. The new tablet is available in 4 different sizes including small size 6.2 x 3.9 inches, medium size 8.8 x 5.5 inches, large size 12.8 x 8 inches and extra-large size 19.2 x 12 inches, each with 5,080 lpi resolution and 2,048 pressure levels. Wacom comes back with a music controller known as Nextbeat, that is perfect for both professional and casual digital DJs who want to introduce a new method of playing their music and keeping the party crowd entertained. The device features a special docking wireless control pod allowing you to roam and control sounds which have been loaded onto the Nextbeat base station. Each purchase comes with a pair of digital audio players, a mixer, sampler and effect units. The Nextbeat DJ system will be available in Europe and Japan later this summer. Wacom’s PL-900 is a 19 inch LCD display that also doubles up as a tablet. This display is equipped with a digital pen so you can write, annotate and navigate directly without the help of a mouse. The device offers SXGA resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 pixels in the anti-glare display, DVI-I input and DVI-I output connectivity, a wireless and battery-free pen that offers 512 pressure levels and has a programmable double side-switch. Wacom comes back with another tablet for graphics professionals. The Cintiq 12WX is an ergonomically designed product with a WXGA resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels with 24-bit colour depth and a wide viewing angle of 170°. This 12.1-inch tablet also offers the ExpressKeys and Touch Strips. It will be available from November for $1679 and will support XP, Vista, and OS X operating system.

Wacom comes back with two new touch tablets in the US market. The Bamboo is targeted towards digital photo users, while the Bamboo Fun is for home users. Both of them comes with four hot keys for quick access to user-defined shortcuts, finger-sensitive Touch Ring (for easy scrolling and zooming), and battery-free pen with programmable buttons. Additionally, the Bamboo Fun is equipped with a mouse and couple of softwares including Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter Essentials, and Nik Color Efex Pro. Its available in black, silver, white or blue color for $100 and $200 depending on size. While the Bamboo is available only in black color for $70.

Wacom released their brand new Graphics Tablet for MAC and PC. The Graphics Tablet features new functions including the Snipping Tool and a better integration of Word 2007. TOther features include the programmable buttons and the touch screen scroll down option. No word yet on pricing.
