Gizmodo Japan provides us some details about Japan’s latest timepiece that comes in a unique design. Dubbed as the Nooka Yokohama Triennale Limited Model, the watch has been designed by Nooka in collaboration with the organizers of the Yokohama Triennale, an art exhibition. Let me tell you how to read this watch. The watch’s top row shows the hours from 1 to 6, the one below that displays 7-12, followed by minutes (1-59) and seconds (1-59). Tokyoflash has a new timepiece for us. Dubbed as the Tenmetsu, the watch displays time and date by the sequence of flashing color. Red LEDs indicate 15 units, amber LEDs indicate 5 units and green LEDs indicate 1 unit, a combination of which present hours, minutes, months and date. Here is another “Alien technology” from Tokyoflash that comes in the form of the Tokyoflash NI Watch. The watch’s case is entirely made from stainless steel with a polished finish. Each LED on the lowest line displays two hours and the line above indicates a single hour. The combination of these two lines indicates the current hour. Sportline has recently released a new addition to the TQR heart rate watch series. The new watch is perfect for both men and women. It features analog design with the heart rate shown on the watch’s face in a digital format. Sportline claims that this wristwatch will deliver ECG accurate heart rate in three beats or less without the need for using chest straps or belts. Here is a limited edition G-Shock watch from Casio. The Casio Astro Boy G-Shock watch will be released to honor the legendary Anime artist Osamu Tezuka who has passed away in 1989. Clothing company Quiksilver comes back with a new timepiece called the Ray. This wearable gadget looks old with its analog device that has a 27-jewel movement. The Ray produces a minimal carbon footprint on our environment and will be shipped in eco-friendly packaging. The company also confirms that these watches will be shipped via sea instead of air to reduce CO2 emissions. The Quiksilver Ray Watch will be available in a limited quantity.
