The Trax Mark II from Tokyoflash is a unique timepiece because it displays the time using a belt system of tracks. There are three of four tracks with the belts on the left tell the hour, while the belts on the right display the minute. The Trax MkII is also available in a variety of designs and colors. Casio will launch the new G-SHOCK GB-6900 Bluetooth LE watch on March 16th, 2012 in the Japanese market. Available in red, black or white, this rugged timepiece adopts the Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) technology, which is compatible with the NEC Medias LTE N-04D and Medias PP N-01D Android smartphones. The G-SHOCK GB-6900 is able to synchronize with these Bluetooth LE-enabled smartphones, allowing users to show incoming calls, emails or SMS messages on the watch’s display. As its name suggests, the Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) technology consumes less power than the classic Bluetooth technology. The Casio G-SHOCK GB-6900 retails for 18,000 Yen ($231). [TechCrunch]

Tokyoflash Japan has started selling the Limited Edition Tokyoflash Kisai On Air Watch. What makes this timepiece special is that it has a minimal design with a colored touchscreen LCD display. The LCD display is always on, so the time can be read at a glance and the LED backlight function means it will light up on demand, a useful function for night time. Emir Rifat Isik has created the Nixon Black Diamond watch concept. Designed for men, this timepiece features a rubber strap with a harlequin pattern, a dot matrix display and a raised glass pyramid face. Art Lebedev Studio has unveiled its new concept watch namely the Integralus Digital Watch. The timepiece features a double body closure and two display compartments that snap together for a secure lock on your wrist. These two display segments show hours and minutes, respectively. The body of the watch is made out of milled aluminum, while the strap is made out of an elastic material. It is a cool concept that will hopefully hit the light of production. The ZIIIRO Celeste is not an ordinary wristwatch. It displays the current time using two transparent colored discs. The watch features a matte stainless steel casing and strap. The Garmin FR70 is a new fitness watch that tracks users’ time, heart rate and calories burned. Available in men’s and women’s versions, the Garmin FR70 provides a premium heart rate monitor and adopts the ANT+ technology.
