
QIO Systems, a leader in wearable electronics, today announced the launch of its PANiQ wearable electronics system. iSonic has just released two of its personal wearable displays known as the Crystal 701 and the Shade 301, Myvu devices. They are both compatible with the iPod classic, iPod touch, iPod nano and iPhone. The Crystal 701 will simulate a 37″ experience, and comes with a remote control unit, a detachable dock connector cable, 640 x 480 video output and USB connectivity. As for the Shade 301, you get a lower resolution of 320 x 240, making you feel as though you’re right in front of a 27″ display. Other than that, the remaining specifications are equal to the Crystal 701. The Crystal 701 and the Shade 301 will retail for €280 and €200, respectively. [Akihabara]
