Westinghouse Digital has proudly introduced its new affordable 3D HDTV, the 47-inch W47S2TCD. Priced at an MSRP of $1199, this 3D display features a 1080p full HD resolution, a super fast 6ms response time, a 3D noise reduction, an inverse 3:2 pulldown for film-based content, and three-way selectable color temperature and DayBright, making it perfect for daytime or nighttime viewing. Westinghouse today released several affordable LED HDTVs for the mass market. Priced at only $299 upwards, all of these TVs are only about 1-inch thick at the edges, 1.5-inch thick at the glass, all with a sleek high-gloss black frame that is complemented by red accents. Unfortunately, none of these TVs support HDMI 1.4a, which means that they are not 3D ready. The Westinghouse SK-32H570D is an LCD TV that comes with an integrated DVD player. The 32 inch LCD screen features two HDMI inputs, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 178 degrees viewing angle, 6.5ms response time, and 1,200:1 contrast ratio. Priced at $579, the SK-32H570D also supports ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner with HD programming, and 720p and 1080i resolutions. [Electronista]
Westinghouse will be releasing new 1080p TX series HDTV LCDs in 42, 47, and 52-inch versions as well as a 40-inch VK-40F580D and a 1080P DVD combo player. The 720p LCDs will be available in the SK, PT, and W series from 16 to 32-inch versions. You can get the 1080p TX-52F480S 52-inch display for only $1,999 US, while the 26-inch SK-26H730S is $599. The PT-16H610S HDTV from Westinghouse Digital features a 16 inch LCD which provides HD content in 720p, 16:9 aspect ratio, an HDMI input, Anti-glare coating, and a built-in ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner. The Flexible Lifestlye Display is now available for pre-order for around $300. [Electronista]
