NEC Released New WiFi Router And PCMCIA Card

NEC has unveiled a new WiFi router and PCMCIA card that utilizes the draft 802.11n standard. Both devices will be able to reach speed of up to 300Mbps theoretically. So far, there is no info on the pricing or availability.

Cowon Q5 Portable Media Player Reaches Korea

The Cowon Q5 Portable Media Player will be available soon in Korea (May 14th). The player offers 5 inch touchScreen (Wing Click GUI, Pen Mode or Touch Mode), 40 to 60GB HDD, DMB, navigation (optional), e-dictionary, WiFi, radio FM, USB, OTG, and Office Viewer. It plays Avi, Asf, Wmv, Mpg, MP4, MP3, Ogg, Wma, Flac, Wav and Asf file formats. Its battery provides up to 13 hours of playback time in normal mode and 7 hours in video/DMB mode. Mebius PC-WT70T is a brand new laptop from the Sharp group. The laptop utilitizes a 1.6 GHz CPU processor, a 15.4 inches display, and 1GB of RAM. Windows Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2007 will be pre-installed with this product. In addition, it has a SATA microprocessor of a capacity of 100 GB. The Mebius PC-WT70T is also equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and an integrated DVI. No word on pricing or availability.
