Talking about unconventional design, check out this Ruckus MediaFlex Router. Not only it gives you the superior signal strength that doesn’t drop without warning (courtesy of 200-mW radios and BeamFlex technology), it also offers a hassle-free streaming video. Now, don’t get too excited yet, unfortunately the device lacks of a SPI firewall, a DMZ, and MAC access control. The Ruckus MediaFlex Router sells for $159.99 at Ruckus Wireless. I think it’s still worth the try, don’t you?
