Dell is back with its latest full HD widescreen monitor known as the ST2210. This 21.5-inch monitor provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. Still remember the LG BL40 Touch Chocolate that we mentioned back in July? South Korean cell phone maker LG Electronics has officially confirmed that LG Chocolate LG-BL40 would become available for purchase on the European market starting mid-September 2009. NEC of America today introduced the new member of MultiSync P series. The 22-inch P221W is specially designed for professional graphics who demand high quality LCD screen. The new widescreen monitor offers a 1680×1050 resolution, 96% wide color gamut coverage of AdobeRGB, automatic brightness adjustment, 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, 16ms response time, XtraView+ 178-degree viewing angle, and four-way ergonomic stand. You can purchase this new widescreen display in December 2008 onwards for approx. $637. Korean Giant Samsung has released a new LCD display series for graphics professionals. One of them is the Samsung T260 26 inch widescreen LCD that provides 20,000:1 of contrast ratio, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 5ms response time, HDMI and optional digital TV tuner. Move over Apple because Samsung has created the F490 wide touchscreen multimedia phone. It has similar features such as 5-megapixel camera, Croix UI, 130MB of memory, video recorder, video playback in all formats, bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, and support for both MP3 and WMA playback. The F490 should drop in Europe this February for $777. Looks like the iPhone might have some competition if this is released in the U.S.
Aqua Photo, a Korean based company, has created an aquarium which looks like a widescreen television. This aquarium features a 1460 x 640 cm measurement, 100 watt back light, and a 35 fish capacity. Priced at around $2150, the Aqua Photo Wall Mounted Aquarium even has the huge price of an expensive TV.
The new Fujitsu LOOK T comes with a 10.6 inches widescreen LCD and a Core 2 Duo U7600 CPU (to replace the U2500) at 1.2GHz. Weighing at just over 1Kg, the laptop also features an 80GB HDD, DVD DL burner, WiFi and BlueTooth connectivity.
