If you like retro gadgets then check out the latest multi-format digital radio from Revo Technologies. Known as the Revo HERITAGE, the gadget comes with the classic European table radio designs from the 50’s and 60’s decades. The digital radio has an OLED display and a docking station for all current iPod models. The HERITAGE also sports DAB, DAB+, FM tuner, Wi-Fi internet radio, and wireless audio streaming. TRENDnet has released its latest Mini Wireless N Speed USB Adapter, the TEW-649UB, in the US market. Dubbed as the smallest Wireless N USB adapter in the world, the device uses advanced wireless encryption to protect users data and Wi-Fi Multimedia Quality of Service, which prioritizes video, audio and gaming traffic data. Eye-Fi, a maker of the world’s first wireless memory card for digital cameras, has recently announced that they will release WiFi-enabled SD cards in the UK market on October 19th, 2009. There are three Eye-Fi cards that will be available in the UK including the Eye-Fi Home Video, the Eye-Fi Share Video and the Eye-Fi Pro. These SD cards are available in 4GB storage space that is enough to stores up to 2,000 photos or 90 minutes of video and provides automatic backup to the computer thanks to its wireless capabilities. D-Link has finally released its Xtreme N DIR-685 all-in-one router that was debuted at 2009 CES in January. The router features a built-in draft N Wi-Fi module allowing the device to communicate with network attached storage devices to display streaming videos and pictures, weather forecasts and other live streaming Internet contents. The D-Link Xtreme N DIR-685 also supports an optional 1TB 2.5-inch SATA drive that can be inserted into the side of the DIR-685. There is also a built-in FTP server that gives users access to documents, photos, music and other local or networked content. Additional features include two USB ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, Energy Star specifications for savings of up to 30 percent, and a Wi-Fi Scheduler can turn off the Wi-Fi radio automatically at a specified time. NetGear comes back with their latest product in the form of the Rangemax Wireless-N Gigabit router (model number: WNR3500L). The router supports full 802.11n speeds with four Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide a high speed wired connection. The Rangemax Wireless-N uses the powerful Broadcom 480MHz MIPS 74K CPU with an 8MB of Flash and a 64MB of RAM allowing the router to use open source Linux as its operating system. The 15.6-inch Asus UL50 laptop is now available in the US. The laptop comes jam packed with a 1.3GHz Intel SU7300 ultra-low voltage processor with an Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, a 1,366 x 768 glare-type LED backlight display, up to 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. A French company Withings has announced the US availability of the WiFi Body Scale, which is claimed to be the world’s first WiFi-enabled body scale. It is a useful tool for those who are concerned about their health and are interested in monitoring the benefits and progress of their diet and exercise plan. The WiFi Body Scale automatically recognizes up to 8 users the moment they step on the scale and adds the stats to their individual tracking graphs. Pure has announced the Sensia, which is touted as the world’s first high resolution DAB digital and Internet-connected radio with a large 5.7 inch 640 x 480 high resolution colour touchscreen, giving you a unique way to enjoy internet radio content and podcasts, DAB and FM radio stations, your own music collection via Wi-Fi, online apps and unique broadcast material. The Sensia is also a media streamer enabling users to listen to music stored on a home computer or network storage device via Wi-Fi.
