
Klipsch has rolled out the ProMedia 2.1 wireless THX-certified speakers that are designed for use with a laptop. The speaker system consists of two satellite speakers and one subwoofer. The subwoofer draws its power from a wall outlet, while the two satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer with wires. What makes the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 interesting is that it connects to the laptop via wireless connection, so you can place these satellite speakers and a subwoofer 30-feet away from the PC. All you have to do is to plug its USB wireless transmitter into the laptop’s USB port. If you are interested, you can purchase the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers for $150 a set. Sony Ericsson today launched the MW600 Wireless Stereo Headset with FM Radio that features an advanced Bluetooth technology and a built-in FM radio. Measuring 17.5-mm x 15.0-mm x 62.0-mm and weighing 13-grams, the wireless headset features an OLED display, easy access controls, RDS radio station information, and a 3.5mm jack, so that you can swap the headphones to match how you listen to music in your phone. Logitech has rolled out the Harmony IR Extender System that allows you to easily control your devices even when they are hidden inside a closed cabinet. The device is easy to use. Philips has finally launched its Wireless HDTV Link in the US market. It is basically a wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver kit that comes with two HDMI and two component video inputs. Yamaha comes back to the iPod dock market by releasing the PDX-60. This wireless iPod dock and speaker system connects to the iPod or iPhone via the yAired wireless technology instead of Bluetooth. Apple today announced the new Bluetooth Magic Mouse that allows users to navigate using intuitive finger gestures instead of mechanical buttons, scroll wheels or scroll balls.
