Toshiba rolled out the ultra wide band port replicator dock for its slim Toshiba R400 laptop. The device has two USB ports on the front, two on the back, mini jack audio out, Ethernet, and a DVI output. It uses UWB to hit 400mbits across all those ports. This Wireless Laptop Dock retails for $500.
The Topex Bytton wireless router comes equipped with dual SIM technology that enables the unit to switch networks automatically in the event of a network failure. Using this router, you get download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps which should be more than adequate for checking mails and surfing news sites.
