Marubeni of Japan will be launching two new iPod docks: one made of American Walnut or Scandinavian Birch. Both feature a USB connection and two 1W speakers with a frequency response of 180Hz-20,000Hz, and are compatible both with IPod Classic and iPod Nano. Pay about 60€ for the Scandinavian Birch and 65€ for the American Walnut. [Akihabara via iPod Blog]

Crazy how there’s every type of USB flash drive out there and this is another example. Zana will be selling wood-engraved USB flash drives that features silver and precious stones for about $59 which will get you about 1GB of storage space. But of course if you want your name or other personal messages engraved on them, you’ll probably have to pay up the wazoo. Just hope your home isn’t infested with termites or woodpeckers. =P [UberGizmo]

Here’s a picture of a wooden radio made by Indonesian designer Singgih S. Kartono from scrap leather made from Java’s ebony. Talk about sturdy radios, not only can you use it as a radio but have it on display if you think it’s too cool to use. $155
