Good news for those who call themselves hardcore gamers. Halo 3 for Xbox 360 was officially released. Although the government has refused to declare today a national holiday, I’m sure many of you have skipped classes, called in sick from work or maybe even quit your job to play this game.
Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is a video game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series by Konami. It features a new adaptive AI system entitled Teamvision, which is a sophisticated AI programming that learns and adapts according to an individual’s style of play. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will be released for PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, and Microsoft Xbox 360. Halo 3 is a first-person shooter developed by Bungie Studios exclusively for the Xbox 360. The final version of the game was released on September 25, 2007 in New Zealand (where its midnight release made it first available for retail), Australia, Singapore, India, Canada, Brazil and the United States; September 26, 2007 in Europe; and September 27, 2007 in Japan. You can now pre-order the Microsoft new Xbox 360 Messenger Kit at Amazon.com this week. The kit will include a wired Xbox 360 headset and also an Xbox 360 Chatpad that features dedicated keys and backlit buttons. The Xbox 360 Messenger Kit will be released and available for purchase on September 4 with the retail price of $29.99.
Turtle Beach offers a new headset for Xbox 360 gamers. The firm introduces its Ear Force X3 unit, which is the first wireless headset to boast independent volume control of amplified chat and game audio. The headset features “dynamic talkback expander” feature which automatically adjust incoming Xbox Live chat levels during loud gaming moments. What’s more, the Ear Force X3 also sports automatic shut-off, bass boost, and a stereo expander to provide a “wider sound field.” The Turtle Beach Ear Force X3 Xbox 360 headset starts shipping early next month with a retail price of $99.95.
The XBox 360 Core dropped in Australia from $429 AUD to $399 AUD (the same price as the Nintendo Wii), while the 20GB XBox pro goes from $649 AUD to $579 AUD.
The XBox regional director for Oceania, David McLean, said that the HDMI-equipped boxes are going to be coming to Australia soon. The Elite and Halo 3 special editions are going to be released soon as well, although release date are unknown. Aussies should be ecstatic about this one!
