Korea has just dropped the XRoad MO1000 gps system. This GPS system has a great feature that enables you to have 3D maps with buildings and other structures with the help of a RMI Alchemy Au1250 600MHz processor along with other features like: a 7″ TFT LCD touchscreen display, 30GB hard drive space, DMB receiver, Live Traffic Information, Picture-in-Picture capability, and is Powered by WinCE 5.0 OS. Price and release dates are still unknown, but it shouldn’t matter too much because it’s only available in Korea.

Capoint Co. is bringing a new GPS unit to the US called XRoad. It recently got FCC approval and is on its way to the US. It features a wide 4.3 inch touchscreen, SD card reader, SiRf star III gps receiver, and multimedia player that supports MP3, MPEG4, and JPEG files.
