Another CPU cooler is about to enter the market, this time from Zalman called the CNPS5X. Supporting both Intel (LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775) and AMD (AM3, AM2+, AM2) processors, the cooler comes equipped with a copper base, three 8mm copper heatpipes and a 92mm fan that works at 1400 to 2800 RPM. Zalman is set to unleash their latest 3D LCD monitor ‘ZM-M240WGD’ for the Japanese market. Supporting both 2D and 3D realizations, this new 24-inch widescreen monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and comes bundled with a pair of 3D glasses. Zalman has entered the solid state drive (SSD) business by releasing two lines of SATA SSDs in the 2.5-inch form factor. The value-oriented S-series and the performance-oriented N-series are currently available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of storage capacities. The Zalman S-series SSDs use a JMicron controller with up to 260MB/s of read speeds and up to 60MB/s write speeds for the 32GB model, 120MB/s write speeds for the 64GB model, and 210MB/s write speeds for the 128GB model. The Zalman S-series 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB SSDs are priced at $99, $149, and $249, respectively. The Zalman N-series SSDs adopt the SandForce SF-12xx controller that provides up to 280MB/s read speeds and 270MB/s write speeds. Zalman has recently introduced their newest VGA cooler ‘VF3000A’ which is designed specifically for both ATI Radeon HD 5850 and HD 5870 graphics cards. Measuring 239mm x 98mm x 51mm and weighing 430 grams, the VF3000A comes equipped with a copper base, five copper heatpipes, an aluminum heatsink and two 92mm fans that spin between 1,300RPM and 2,500RPM, with a maximum noise level of 32dBA.
