
Touch screen displays seem to be quite a hit these days. TEAC, a company famous for its optical drives is jumping into the market with its new MP-600 portable media player. Packed with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, an FM tuner, and digital voice recorder, the gadget plays MP3, WMA, DRM9, AVI (XVID), and JPEG file formats. Battery is good for 10 hours for music and 5.5 hours for video playback. Choices are offered in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities, expandable with SD/MMC memory slots.
