
Casio today launched another member from their Z-Series digicam. Known as the Exilim EX-Z33, this 10 Megapixel entry-level digital camera features a 3x optical zoom lens with a 2.5-inch LCD display. The Exilim Zoom EX-Z450 is the latest addition to the Casio’s point-and-shoot camera series. It is a 12.1MP shooter that adopts Exilim Engine 4.0, a 4x optical zoom, and is capable of recording video in 720/24p. In addition, the camera also has an ISO range of 64 to 3200, a 35.7 MB of internal memory, and a new Automatic Focus mode that automatically detects the photo subject even if it is not a human face. The EX-Z450 should automatically adjust exposure and focus to best capture the non-human (or human) subject. It is also capable of high-speed burst shooting at up to 10fps at a reduced resolution. Samsung will release the CL65 digital camera that features a 12.2-megapixel image sensor with a 5x optical zoom. The camera supports DLNA to make it compatible with home entertainment devices. Bluetooth 2.0 support enables users to send photos to other devices easily. A Wi-Fi connection allows users to e-mail photos from the camera or upload photos or videos to networking sites including Facebook, Picasa and YouTube. Kodak will release the new Zi8 HD ultra-portable camcorder in September 2009. As a successor to the Zi6 and the Zx1, the new Zi8 comes with a larger 2.5-inch LCD, a face recognition, an image stabilization, and a 1080p HD recording. Users can also upload pictures directly to YouTube and Facebook. In addition, the camcorder has a flip-out USB arm for connection to a computer.
