Gigabyte is released two new Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphones this week, the g-Smart i120 and g-Smart i300. The i300 features a tri-band device, packing 64MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a MiniSD slot and an FM tuner. While the i120 features a built-in keypad, but the specs are pretty similar otherwise, with tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900) and GPRS, 64MB RAM, 256MB ROM, 802.11g, Bluetooth, infrared, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, and 2 megapixel camera. Nokia E61 has a built-in light meter that will adjust the brightness of the screen to be optimal for any conditions. You can also use this feature to increase the battery life. The resolution is only 320×240 but text and images look crisp and the screen really is nice to look at and use. It supports the most common features of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003) and compatible with Zip Manager and Adobe Reader. These are some photos of the upcoming Motorola Capri slider cellphone. It is about the same size as the Slvr, it will probably have a miniSD/TransFlash slot to store plenty of tunes. Samsung D900, the world’s thinnest slider handset, was approved by the FCC. With a 13mm thickness, a mere 3-ounce weight, video recording and messaging capabilities, a 3-megapixel camera with a 2.1-inch (QVGA) display, this phone will probably dazzle anyone. The T-Mobile MDA Vario size and weight is the same as the Sony Ericsson P900. It fits in the pocket just as well as the Sony Ericsson P900. SymbianWave has announced the Magic Message Manager for Nokia 9300/9500. It can filter emails, SMS and MMS messages, faxes and beamed files using a variety of options (e.g. senders name, text in message).
