The Nokia 8208 phone has been unveiled. This handset is actually the first non-N Series cell phone from Nokia that features a 2-way slider. The music phone has controls for track navigation when the display is slid downwards. Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, 3MP camera, assisted GPS and EV-DO Rev. A support. If you want to buy a new GPS enabled smartphone, you can choose the new handset from Samsung. Known as the Samsung i740 is powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile Pro 6.1 with Touch display support, GSM/EDGE (2.5G), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 624Mhz CPU, an integrated GPS, a 3MP digital camera and an FM tuner. Here is good news for those who lived in Canada. Samsung’s Instinct will be available in Canada from August 8th onwards courtesy of Bell Canada. The cell phone comes jam packed with EV-DO Rev. A support, GPS navigation, full HTML browser and touch screen display. The Nokia 7510 Supernova is a new flip phone that has a push-to-open side key. Other features include an FM radio, MP3 player, and access to Nokia Maps 1.2 to navigate with free mapping, routing and local search, and support of A-GPS. Dubbed as the Hole Phone, this concept phone was designed by Chi Shing Lo, a student at the UK’s De Montfort University. Sharp has decided to release the 923SH 5.2MP camera phone in the Japanese market through Softbank. This handset will be available on July 5th, 2008. The phone features a 3.3-inch AQUOS swiveling LCD with 480 x 845 resolution. Its camera adopts auto-focus feature that stabilizes hand-shake blurring.
