LG has introduced its latest cellphone, the LG Decoy (LG-VX8610). The world’s first phone to have a Bluetooth hands-free headset integrated into the design. The Decoy headset slips into the back of the device for easy transport and charging. Coming to the specs the Dual Band CDMA phone packs in a 2 Megapixel camera, Micro SD card slot, video and MP3 playback and a QVGA 240 x 320 pixel display. The phone will be in stores on June 16 2008. Palm will offer a free update for the Treo 700wx this summer. Just make sure that you make a backup of all your data before you update. The update 1.24 is only compatible with the Verizon Treo 700wx. Korean giant Samsung will launch their new “green phone”, called the Samsung W510. The phone is “green” because of its bio-plastic case, which is a natural material extracted from corn that won’t pollute the environment. The new Motorola A1800 is a small touch screen smartphone with a transparent plastic cover. Sony Ericsson is launching a new gaming phone called the F305. It features mere EDGE speeds, a Memory Stick Micro slot, a 2-inch 176 x 220 display and music playback, a built-in accelerometer for motion controlled games. Let’s forget our 1.3MP camera phone. Because the Sony Ericsson will release its new 8.1MP camera phone with autofocus. Also known as Shiho, the Sony Ericsson C905 Phone also adopts face recognition, Smart Contrast, image stabilization, BestPic, red-eye reduction and a xenon flash. Other features include a TV-out port, a 2.4-inch QVGA display with an accelerometer, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi with DLNA-support, and GPS.
