Motorola Brute i680 Sprint

Sprint and Motorola has collaborated to launch a new rugged, push-to-talk phone for Nextel. Known as the Motorola Brute i680, this clamshell meets the Military Specification 810F for shock, vibration, dust, low and high temperatures, radiation, humidity, blowing rain and low pressure. The Motorola Brute i680 comes jam packed with a 2.2-inch internal display with 176 x 220 pixels, a 1.3 inch external display with 120 x 160 pixels, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, an MP3 player, a web browser, a 2MP camera with flash, a 180MB of internal memory, and a memory card slot. Samsung CorbyPro B5310

Samsung has recently announced that they will introduce the Samsung Corby S3650, Samsung CorbyPro B5310 and Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 at CES 2010. As a reminder, the Galaxy Spica i5700 is an Android smartphone that resembles the Galaxy i7500. The phone is powered by an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, lots of Google services, access to popular social networking websites (MySpace, Facebook), a 3.5mm headset jack, DNSe 2.0, a 3.2MP Autofocus camera, and a 180MB of internal memory.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Corby is an affordable touchscreen phone that features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, social networking integration, a 2MP camera and a 50MB of internal memory. Upcoming Multitouch Android Smartphone From OPPO

PMP manufacturer OPPO will launch their first Android-powered smartphone in the Q1 of 2010. The handset features a 3.5-inch WQGA (800 x 480) capacitive multitouch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, and WiFi. The name of the model is still unavailable at this time. Stay tuned for more updates. Read more

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Will Be Released In The UK

Sony Ericsson has announced that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will go on sale on January 18th, 2010 in the UK. The Android-powered Xperia X10 will retail for £529.99 or around $861 (Unlocked). If you are interested, you can pre-order this smartphone right now via Play.com and will be a free delivery item. FYI, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 features a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel shooter with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. Acer Liquid A1 Android Smartphone Released In The UK

The Acer Liquid A1 is now available in the UK market. The company’s first Android smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera. FYI, Acer has decided to underclock it to 768MHz in order to prolong the 1,350mAh battery life span. SKY Qbric II 3G Full Touchscreen Phone Plays DivX Videos

South Korean cell phone manufacturer Pantech today introduced their latest mobile phone, SKY Qbric II (IM-R520S). The cool factor for this handset is the integrated HD video player that supports DviX, H.264, MPEG4, and XviD file formats. Available in white and black, this 3G cell phone features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), a 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card, Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel camera with Autofocus, a GPS receiver and a digital TV tuner T-DMB. Samsung’s Wibro-capable SPH-M8400 smartphone is now available in South Korea via KT. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and has a 3.7-inch touchscreen Active Matrix OLED (AMOLED) display with a 800 x 480 resolution. Nokia X6 'Comes with Music' Edition

Nokia is ready to launch the Nokia X6 “Comes with Music” edition, which is designed for a high quality entertainment experience. The music-oriented phone supports the unlimited subscription service and provides a 5-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, a 3.2-inch (640 x 360 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 32GB of internal storage that is enough to hold around 7,000 songs. For your info, the Nokia X6 is actually the company’s first handset with a capacitive touchscreen that provides more precision and quicker response than resistive displays. Special Edition LG BL40 Chocolate Xmas Edition

LG today introduced the brand new LG BL40 Chocolate Christmas Edition that will be launched in the South Korea market on December 10th, 2009. The phone features a black color case with golden accents and an 8-megapixel digicam with Autofocus, instead of the 5-megapixel camera featured in the original BL40. In addition, customers will also receive a voucher for a prize of up to 5-million Korean Won or around $4,000.
