iBuyPower has released their latest Chimera 2 gaming PC series in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The Chimera 2 gaming PC series is available in five customizable forms including the Chimera 2-F, Killer Chimera 2-F, Chimera 2-E, Chimera 2-Q, and Killer Chimera 2-Q. All models feature either Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, or AMD Phenom II x4 processor, either ATI or nVidia graphics card, and support up to 16 to 24 GB of DDR3 memory. These gaming PCs also comes with the Creative Labs SoundBlaster X-Fi card, power supplies up to 1200 Watts, liquid cooling options, Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit, and support a wide variety of storage capability including 7 internal 3.5-inch drive bays and 4 external 5.25 bays for optical drives. This Juniper-based GPU is equipped with 800 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core clock of 850MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 1200MHz, an Arctic Cooling fansink (copper base and a 92-mm fan) and several connectivity ports including DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. HIS is gearing up to release another custom graphics card in the form of the Radeon HD 5750 iCooler IV. This Juniper-based GPU integrates 720 Stream Processors, a 1GB of GDDR5 memory, a dual-slot iCooler IV fansink and comes with several connectivity ports including DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. The card also offers several factory overclocked frequencies – 700MHz for the GPU and 4600MHz for the memory, and supports DirectX 11, CrossFirex as well as ATI Eyefinity.
