PhotoFast has announced a new series of 1.8-inch SSDs by unveiling the G-Monster V4. Coming in capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB, these drives are available in three different versions, either with 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE or 50-pin IDE connection interface. They also feature MLC NAND flash memory chips, a 64MB of cache memory, an active garbage collection function and provide read and write speeds of up to 128MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively. Here’s the latest addition to G.Skill’s SSD line-up, the Falcon II. Available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB sizes, these 2.5-inch drives are based on 34nm NAND flash memory chips and provide read/write speeds of up to 220/110 MB/s for the 64GB model or 220/150 MB/s for both 128GB and 256GB models.
