This digiframe features a 1.5 inch 128×128 colorscreen, nine hour battery life, automatic/manual scrolling, and OS X/Windows compatibility. You can also recharge with a USB cable, complete with built-in clock. Only down side to this one is it’s only 8MB storage. But a pretty good buy for 39.95.

Transcend today unveiled a new external hard drive in StoreJet line up with 160GB storage capacity. The device comes in a polished aluminum case and is based on SATA interface that offers transfer rates up to 480Mbits per second. This 2.5-inch external hard drive also sports transfer rates of up to 1.5Gb/s via “point to point†data connections and saves power with its low operating voltage. In addition, Transcend’s 160GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA External HDD comes bundled with an OneTouch Auto-Backup function.

Western Digital adds some new fresh color to its Passport line of portable hard drives. The firm introduces the device in green, red and white. These hard drives provides 250 GB of storage capacity and sports USB 2. The Western Digital Passport is a high-performance portable storage for your Mac and PC.

Have you played Xbox 360’s Halo 3? Mimoco introduced their own Halo series of USB flash drives. Compatible with USB 2.0, the Halo Mimobot Series 1 line replicates the likeness of Master Chief, Halo’s hero. You can pick this flash drive in Spartan blue, red or Master Chief’s preference, forest green. These Mimoco’s Halo USB drives are also limited editions. The Master Chief Green version will be limited to 5,000 drives while Red Spartan and Blue Spartan drives will be limited to 3,000 units.
Each Halo USB drive will come pre-loaded with Halo themed screensavers, wallpapers, comic book pages, sound files and excepts from an upcoming Halo novel. Available on October 18, the 1GB version retails for $49.95, 2GB will be $69.95 and a 4GB is priced at $109.95.

LaCie unveiled its new home version of the Ethernet Disk mini NAS drive which will be released in October for around $200. The LaCie Ethernet Disk mini – Home Edition is a 500GB personal media server which offers Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity. The device allows users the ability to offer remote access to others for files stored on it and can also be used to back up and synchronize a home computer automatically. The device also allows users to stream of multimedia files through DLNA-compatible UPnP media players and acts as an iTunes music server.

Western Digital is expanding its new My Book lineup once more with the Studio Edition. It is compatible with Macs and is available in sizes ranging from 320GB to 1TB. The device also features a quadruple interface giving users the option of using USB 2.0, FireWire 400 / 800, or eSATA. Additionally, the drive offers up “automatic, continuous backup,” a capacity gauge, five-year warranty, SmartPower feature, a fanless design to keep things quiet, and an “elegant silver metallic finish that perfectly complements other Mac products.” Western Digital My Book Studio Edition is available now from $199.99 to $399.99 depending on capacity.

Western Digital is not only targeted pure media junkies but also style conscious users who wants to bank on high capacity external hard drive to store data. Available in 320GB to 1TB capacities, the new My Book hard drive provides many useful features such as automatic, continuous backup, capacity gauge (to show how much space is free), SmartPower feature that powers the drive on and off with the computer, USB 2.0 interface (plus FireWire 400 and eSATA on Home Edition), and Kensington security slot. The My Book external hard drives are now available with price ranging from $130 to $380 depending on model and capacity.

Designed by Vicky Wei, this snake-like, flexible design concept is called Memory Infinite. It has a USB male connector at one end and a female connector at the other, so you can daisy chain one to the next to increase their storage capacity. String enough of them together and you have yourself a necklace made of multicolored flexible links.

If LaCie 2big hard drives don’t excite you, the company also announced the 500GB Golden Disk external hard drive which was designed by French designer Ora-Ãto. The hard drive is compatible with both PC and Mac, sports a USB 2.0 interface, and LaCie’s own 1-Click backup software to boot. The Golden Disk will be released in October for $189.

LaCie kicked off the launch of a new line of 2big hard drives which include the 2big Dual, 2big Triple and the 2big Network. They ranged in capacity from 1TB to 2TB, and all include a new “thermoregulated progressive smart fan” to keep things cool and quiet. The 2Big Dual sports eSATA II and USB 2.0, while the 2Big Triple provides both FireWire and USB 2.0. The 2Big Network is an Ethernet version that can act as a file sharing or backup server. These LaCie hard drives will be available in September and starting at $399.
