LG has announced a new line of external HDDs for the Korean market with the introduction of the XG1 Chic. Coming in 1TB, 1.5TB, 2TB capacities, these stylish 3.5-inch drives feature a powerful and silent cooling system, a USB 2.0/1.1 interface and support SATA II interface for a faster and efficient data transfer. Buffalo Unveils A New NAS Device

Buffalo has recently unveiled its latest Network Attached Storage (NAS) device called the TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. The NAS is available in 2TB, 4TB and 6TB models and supports up to four SATA hard drives in RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID 5 or 10 modes. The device also comes with an LCD screen, two USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet and supports for hot-swapping, Apple’s Time Machine and Active Directory Services. The TeraStation TS-XEL/R5 will hit Japan later this month for $946 (2TB), $1,180 (4TB) and $1,535 (6TB), respectively. Read more
