There’s been a battle between LCD photo frame makers lately, and everyone’s trying to come up with the best. This Ality Picca 8-inch LCD Photo Frame is quite a fighter. With its unique features including a calendar that lets you display specific photos or movies on certain days and times, it’s packed with 512MB internal memory and a slot extension for SD, MMC or MS memory cards. You can also use this frame as an alarm clock and you can play your tunes through its tiny speaker. The $300 tag is a little pricy though, but it sure beats old style picture framing.

Samsung has introduced the SDP-07, a digital photo frame. The photo frame has an 800×400 7†viewable display, which can be used for a host of digital media including images, video, and audio. There are several ways you can display your media on the device including its internal 32mb memory, SD and CF memory slots, an Ethernet port, and of course USB. If you fancy, you can even stream videos and pictures from your cell phone to the unit. These are currently available in Korea.
