
Exemode comes back to the digital photo frame market by releasing the Yashica DVF828. It is actually a digital photo frame that comes with a built-in scanner. The gadget comes jam packed with an 8-inch (800×600) display screen with a 1GB of internal memory, a memory card slot for storage expansion, and a USB port. The scanner can accepts up to 10cm x 15cm pictures at a 1200 × 1800 pixels resolution. Exemode will launch the Yashica DVF828 on October 24th, 2009 for 24,800 Yen ($277). [ITMedia]

HP today released two new high-quality digital photo frames from its Dreamscreens series. The Dreamscreen 100 and the Dreamscreen 130 feature a 10.2-inch display and a 13.3-inch display, respectively. Both digital displays feature a resolution 840 x 480, a 2GB of built in memory, WiFi 802.11 b/g, 10/100 LAN, a built-in memory card reader, a USB port and a headphone out. The ALBO is Sanyo’s latest digital photo frame that provides a 7-inch LCD display with an 800 x 480 resolution, a 500MB of internal memory, and a speaker. Unlike other digital frames, the Sanyo ALBO lacks of Wi-Fi connectivity, but it uses Infrared connectivity for transferring photos and videos from mobile phones. Available in white, pink and brown models, this digital display also supports for JPEG, MP3 and Motion-JPEG file formats, a memory card reader, and a USB port. The latest digital photo frame from BlueDot, the BTV-1000W, boasts an integrated 1Seg TV tuner allowing you to watch your favorite TV shows on its 10-inch LCD screen. This digital photo frame also supports 1,024 x 600 resolution. All pictures are stored on a memory card. Samsung will introduce the P-Series digital picture frame at IFA 2009. Green-House Japan has come out with another 7-inch digital picture frame in the form of the GHV-DF7GD. Available in either black or white, this portable device provides a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 400:1 contrast ratio, 220 cd/m2 brightness and supports sMpeg 1/2 videos as well as MP3 audio files. Mimo has updated its mini USB monitor series by releasing the Mimo 710-S “Mobile Slider” version. This 7-inch USB monitor features a new clamshell design, which makes it more portable and easier to carry around. The screen has a double headed USB cable, a 500:1 contrast ratio and an 800 x 480 resolution. The digital display is capable of rotating 90 degrees. Kairen of Japan has recently released a new photo key frame holder known as Photty AL15. The gadget features a 1.5-inch LCD display at 128 x 128 resolution, a brightness level of 150cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 250:1 and an USB port for you to transfer all your photos into its internal memory.
