Hitachi has unveiled a new 4.5-inch IPS LCD for smartphones, which is better the Apple’s Retina display. The new Hitachi LED-backlit LCD has a super large 1280 x 720 pixel resolution with a 329 pixel-per-inch density and a 1,100:1 contrast ratio. The Panasonic MW-5 is a new 7-inch digital photo frame that supports a WXGA resolution and a 10.5mm thick frame. The digital frame comes equipped with a 128MB of internal memory, which is expandable via an SD/ SDHC card slot. The device has been designed principally with accountants in mind in order to assist with field audit work. What makes this Field Monitor Pro special is that it folds up to protect the screen during transport.
